Genheal is a synthetic derivative of the human growth hormone somatropin (HGH soe ma TROE pin). Hypothalamus release Growth hormone in the pituitary. In its turn Growth hormone stimulates the liver to produce insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). These processes have growth-stimulating effects on a wide variety of tissues and promote bone growth. Its other important effects include: muscle mass growth; increased mineralization of bones; stimulation of the growth of all the internal organs; lipolysis promotion; increased protein synthesis; immune system stimulation; reduction of glucose absorbation by the liver. As an anabolic agent Growth hormone improves heartbeat; lowers blood pressure; normalizes cholesterol level; increases muscle mass and bone growth; regenerates major organs; removes wrinkles and achieves younger, tighter, thicker skin; keeps hair re-growth; reduces body fat; enhances human sexual performance; achieves higher energy levels and increased exercise performance.
Genheal is widely indicated in the following cases:
- growth hormone deficiency (GHD);
- Short Bowel syndrome;
- Prader -Willi syndrome;
- Turner syndrome;
- SHOX gene deficiency;
- idiopathic short stature;
- metabolic diseases and AIDS-related wasting;
- after birth continued, intrauterine growth retardation short stature;
- pediatric renal transplantation before renal failure related to lack of growth;
- anti-aging, body building and fat loss (only healthy patients).
Contraindications and Cautions:
Genheal is restricted for the patients suffering from one of the following: allergic reactions to any of the product's ingredients; obesity; tracheae respiratory difficulties; diabetes; apnoea; snoring; tumour; Prader-Willi syndrome; kidney transplant; brain or central nervous system issues, bone illness; high intracranial pressure; endocrine problems; pituitary gland troubles; certain types of traumas or surgeries.
If the patient is experiencing one of the above, his physician might or might not prescribe Genheal. The patient should consult with the specialist about the medicine. Some additional tests might be required to determine whether the product is suitable or not.
Genheal is not recommended for breast feeding or pregnant women. It is also restricted for those who are planning to become pregnant.
Like any other medicine, Genheal might cause several side effects, such as: headache, nausea, respiration difficulties, vision troubles, dark urine, hair loss, joint or muscle aches, asthenia, ear pain or infection, injection zone swelling or density, skin rash, inflammation; tongue, lips, face, hand or feet swellings.
Not all of the possible adverse effects are listed above. The patient must consult with his physician about the negative consequences of the treatment.
It is recommended to start the medication with a lower dose, and then gradually increase it. A regular dosage plan is:
Weeks 1-4 = Genheal 2 IU's one injection;
Week 5 = Genheal 2.5 IU's one injection;
Week 6 = Genheal 3.0 IU's divided into 2 injections of 1.5 IU's each;
Week 7 = Genheal 3.5 IU's divided into 2 injections of 1.75 IU's each;
and so on, until the patient reaches the required dose.
The recommended dose as for anabolic steroid:
Anti-aging, health improvement, and fat removal: 2-3 IU's per day;
Bodybuilding: 4-8 IU's per day;
The Genheal dose for other purposes is strictly prescribed by the physician. Genheal is administrated subcutaneously and intramuscularly only by a specialist in a medical environment.
A vial of Genheal has the form of lyophilized powder. Bacteriostatic Water, Sterile Water, or even liquid vitamin B12 are commonly used for Genheal dilution. It is recommended to use a 3cc syringe with a 23 or 25 device needles (1" or 1.5"). It is restricted to shake the vial for faster dilution.
It is not recommended to miss a dose of the drug. However, in case of a failed dose, the patient should take it as soon as he remembered. If it is close time to a planned dose, the patient should skip the missed one and come back to his regular dosage plan. It is restricted to double the dose to catch up. If the patient failed to take the remedy doses more than 3 times in a row, it is a must to inform his physician about this matter.
An overdose of the product might cause dizziness, headache, nausea, rapid heartbeat, increased appetite, faintness, tiredness, cold sweat and shivering. The patient must immediately ask for an emergent medical help in case of an overdose.
Other medicine might interact with Genheal. The patient should make sure his doctor is informed about any additional medicine he is using. The following drugs may affect the Genheal treatment: insulin, ciclosporin, corticosteroids, androgens, oestrogens, anabolic steroids, glucocorticosteroids, androgens, sex steroids and medicines that are metabolized by the cytochrome P450 system.
Not opened vials should be stored at a room temperature (15°C-30°C or 59°F - 86°F). A diluted vial should be kept at a refrigerator (2°C-8°C or 36°F-46°F). It is contradicted to freeze the drug or to use it after the expiration date. Children should not have an access to the medication.
